Instructor – Watercolor

What I’ll be teaching? Welcome! My classes are very demonstration heavy, so you will learn a lot through step by step instructions. Our lessons will be focused on animal and landscape painting techniques for ALL levels with a focus on TEXTURE and SPECIAL EFFECTS. Structure and flow of lessons will be grouped into themes: trees & grasses, skies and water, rocks and cliffs, fur texture and animal features from equine & bovine to wildlife (such as wolves and elk.)

PLEASE EMAIL ME FOR DIGITAL REFERENCE PHOTOS that you may want  upload to your tablets  / laptops or to have printed out for in class demos.

These images will be available a few weeks prior to the Rendezvous

Artwork that speaks to your heart…
“Whether I am working on a personal or corporate commission in oil, watercolour, pencil or pastel, my objective is to get at the heart of my subject matter. My work reflects my rural roots and is a collision of two worlds: Realism and Expressionism. Realism allows me to affect the cerebral that is human nature – our desire to recognize a shape, place and subject, while the strokes, drips and splatter are the result of an intuitive relation to the medium at hand. Bridging the ephemeral; nostalgia, resilience, desire, loss, love. I love connecting with others through my artwork.”

Crystal Beshara is a Canadian contemporary realist painter and educator. She is a proud two-time winner of the prestigious Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation prize. She is an associate member of American Women Artists and an elected member of The International Guild of Realism. Her work has been featured in many publications including International Artist Magazine (voted the worlds best Art Magazine). She works in oil, watercolour, pencil, pen and ink and pastel and her paintings have been collected by both corporate and private clients around the globe.
